I can not say enough good things about this place! The deluxe tacos are the best ever and I had a bloody mary that was different but amazing! Delicious food, cool atmosphere, and the service is top notch! Must check out
My wife and I absolutely LOVE the food and the service here. We have decided that it's our favorite Mexican restaurant in all of San Antonio. The reason I only gave them 1 star for Atmosphere is bcuz the music is always (without exception) WAY TOO LOUD!! You can barely even hear yourself think, much less others at your table, or the waitstaff, or our friend, Mariano (if he thinks that I'm giving him a blank look, its bcuz I already have hearing problems without the music, and I can probably only hear about half [or less] of what he's saying to me). We have come to the conclusion that many times, when our servers don't bring us exactly what we asked them to get for us, it's got to be due to the fact that they CANNOT CLEARLY HEAR WHAT WE SAID. Here’s one big, huge reason that they ought to seriously consider lowering the volume of that (noise) music: We had another couple that we're friends with go there with us for my birthday last September. They also loved the food, but when we were driving back home, they said that they will probably not ever go there again bcuz of the extremely LOUD music volume.
Love this place and so good with everything. Sorry for the photos not as I would have liked but they have so much food and everything is pretty much right on price and lots more than other skimpier places. Our waitress was so nice and thoughtful always checking back and forth and never had given us a look or demeanor as not to want to be helpful. I truly appreciated her work and definitely recommend this place. I just saw one review depicting the opposite of what I've experienced, however if the food is not what you like explain to staff and I'm sure they will fix it. Or just try to go ahead and reject food but try another dish or ask how you would like it. I've done this at other locations and usually it's much better. I agree it shouldn't lack taste or that zing so be patient. I know the barbacoa is really good here.
Delicious, Fast, and Priced right! I think we found our new favorite Mexican spot. The salsa was the best we have had. It had a nice smokie flavor to accompany the pleasent kick from the peppers. The pastor plate was very nice. And the Horchata was top-notch. But the star of the show was the Alambre plate. It was so angry when it arrived at our table! Spitting, hissing, and smoking! The steak pieces were perfectly charred, the ham and suageage were very flavorful, and the cheese was so melty! We will definitely be returning for this one!
My niece invited me here the other night and boy did we had a great time here. I ordered a plate that was mad delicious, chicken with poblano sauce mmmmmm good. The waiter were very friendly. They give you chips and salsa, mmmmmm delicious too. The restaurant is located right behind the Shell gas station and highway 1604. Next to Whataburger and other businesses. I also recommend this restaurant if you are planning to just have a few drinks or just a good meal
The best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. Try El Jefe margarita and anything you desire from the menu. It's all good and the portions are large. Thank you for a great service!

Wonderful Mexican food restaurant. The food was plentiful and served hot. Best Mexican food I have had since moving to San Antonio. Try to avoid going at popular times. Noise levels are a little high.
